Saturn May 5th

Did not expect much from this night after thin cloud was spoiling matters and Saturn was very dim and noisy but got quite a respectable result. I must say PIPP is fantastic in this situation for improving brightness levels which greatly helps AS!2.

That's a good result for poor conditions, I reckon. I think I'm reaching towards the end of my willingness to go chasing Saturn this year unless the seeing is absolutely outstanding.

Thanks Jason I'm very pleased with how the QHY5L-ll is performing. This image just shows the value of having a single shot colour cam because there is no way this result would have been possible under the conditions with RGB imaging.
