Case for HEQ5 Pro mount head?

Has anyone found a case better or cheaper (preferably both!) than the Large Heavy Duty one in Maplins for £49.99?

I'm concerned as these things are rather heavy aren't they so it's going to have to be pretty sturdy!

Unfortunately it is not cheaper, and being padded it will offer less protection than a hard case but good for transporting and storing.

The hardcases from maplins are one of the items that they usually reduce a couple of times a year I picked up a pair of them for 29.99 each...

Ive had them about 2 years, never had a problem with them. One carries the HEQ5 head with cables and such like. Another has EPs, diagonals, guide camera etc and the small takes both of the counter weights

Can I ask what you have managed to fit inside it? Did it come with the foam?

This is what i transport mine in,

It was actually made by the previous owner, although i do have the skills and equipment to do it.

I was planning on an update to match the scope transport box i made but it functions for now, and think with all the bits (12mm ply,hinges,catches,foam) it will cost in the region of £30-£40?

O.k. if you like a woodwork project just to give you an idea of the custom made option.
