Milamber
OK - I have been exremely lucky in being able to get hold of this little piece of history that was to go on to become the AP1200... it's an AstroTech PM-1 and I managed to pry it from Steve's (Telescope House engineer and all-round good guy) sweaty hands a few days ago. It may take a while to get into imaging fettle but I am confident - pics here Arthur

barkis
That is one solid looking mount Arthur, and a fine piece of engineering to boot. Is that a picture of sir Patrick on your wall, and his 15" reflector?. Ron.
Milamber
Ron - the first set of pics are taken at the Telescope House workshop, but yes, it's PM and the 15". If I'd had the camera when I collected the mount I could've got some pics of the renovated refractor which is looking amazing!Arthur
barkis
Maybe when you go back to TH Arthur, you could grab a pic. or two. I, and I'm sure others would like very much to see it. Ron.
