tigerjon
Good afternoon, My dob 200p has just arrived, I've set it up (I believe) and it looks awesome, I was just wondering about storage, is there anywhere that i should avoid putting it? Its currently upright in my bed room, mainly due to lack of space. thanks in advance for your help jon
cotterless45
Yep, nowhere damp or with wide fluctuations of temperature.Very nice scope, personally I'd keep mine in the house, just allow 20 minutes to cool down before use,Nick.
Eastridge
As above damp is the main thing to avoid , and if you choose a shed / outbuilding it would need a good covering to make sure creepy crawlies didn't get inside.Ours stays in the house in summer and in our ( unheated)conservatory in winter. Winter is great as it doesn't need cooling to view but once the sun brings the interior temperatures too high it has to move inside. If you have space in the garage that would be good re not having to cool down, but KIV above re creepies if you get them in your garage.
Grotemobile
Same here,in the house.Mine takes a few hours to cool down being a C11.The 4"refractor,about an hour.It does make a lot of difference.Steve.

bingevader
The garden shed is fine as long as it's dry, that's where mine is, saves on cool down time.Cheers
