You just know its going to happen - Result = zero count - Conclusion = Total light pollution

There hasn't been a clear sky at the beginning of this survey and there isn't one predicted by the end.

Luckily I took a reading a day before the survey started so I might add it if a clear sky doesn't emerge...

The forecast for the whole week is rubbish, but I think I usually see just the belt stars, plus M42 if I'm very lucky.

Nice clear skies here on the Island last night, but a bit booked up with Valentines, birthdays and visiting friends - however, managed two quick obs; 28 stars visible at Bembridge at 19:45hrs and 27 from @ Ventnor Esplanade at 22:00hrs. Both registered with CPRE, so feel I've done my bit
