very impressed with them

only thing being is that it is pouring with rain outside i guess its something that i will have to get used to

I had a play with the Pentax 10x50 PCF WP II last night. Distinctly better than the Oly DPS1 (but then, at 3x the price, they should be! ):

* Waterproof and nitrogen-filled = no internal fogging on damp nights.

* No eyepiece bridge = nothing to rock to muck up your focus.

* Lockable focus = no accidental unfocusing once you've found the sweet spot.

I was thinking of asking Mrs Santa for one of those for Christmas! I've looked through one myself, and although they are far from the lightest 10x50 on the market, I love the robust build.

The Pentax PCF is brilliant. I love my 8x40. I still think the PCF's eyepieces have the best twist up eye cup I have ever used.
