Pretty dismal effort today I'm afraid , I guess that trying to shoot through a bank of fog isn't the best way of getting a crisp , detailed image . . . .

Just 30 from 40 in the mix.

Left at 800x800 as it doesn't stand up to "close inspection" . . .

1000D + ST120 + ND3.8 + 1.8 x Barlow + UHC + S/L.

1/200s @ ISO 400 ...!!! , 30/30 ,Reg 5.1 , Gimp2.8.

Was about to set up myself to have a first attempt at solar imaging. Then guess what... clouds.

Looks like thats it for the day then. I'll have a go tomorrow.

The sky's just come over all clear and blue here , literally 2 minutes after the greenery starts to interfere with the disc . . .

If it wasn't still reading minus five out there I'd go for a little roadtrip and catch him properly , but as I'm now warm again and there's not a lot going on AR wise I'll pass today.
