Hello from me too Johnny. If you're gunna lean towards AP, you may as well get the kit now (if you can of course as it aint cheap).

A good EQ GO-TO synscan mount (EQ3 minimum) from one of the verious manufacturers who make them and a fast astro reflector or ED refractor will see you right. Of course, this is a simplified answer. In reality, the choices are vast, but you will find your answers here come what may!
