along time ago locked in a file deep in my laptop! 1st AP pics

these were my very first astro pics taken around 3 years ago with a modded pentax, on my old blue 200p unguided these was taken over a year , the comet one was with a WO 66

looking at these i feel like i have come on a long way since then and now produce pictures like the m81 & m82 and the bubble which i can actually show to my friends and be proud of. its always good to have a look back on your first images gives you a great boost of what you can achieve now. just thought i would share.

Nice Pictures Dan, if they are some of your first they are very good

I think if we lived in a country that had more clear nights i think the

progress from not having a clue to something you can hang on a wall

would happen alot quicker.

Goodness knows when the weather will allow any more imaging - the rain has turned to snow - it's already a foot deep in places and it's still snowing

its hard trying to lean with minimal data, over the past 3 years i have probably produced 5 images that im happy with only cause i have had enough data on them an been able to process them, the weather here sure does suck

If I get shots like these when I start I will be a very happy man, must be encouraging looking back seeing your progress over the years.
