Good starter mono cam?

As title says can anyone recommend a good entry level mono cam, I already use two dslr's so was toying with the idea of going mono?

Starlight xpress SXVR-H9 or Atik 314+ second hand, about £750, are a common first CCD.

However, you need to "match" the camera with your scope, and get something that will give you the field of view you seek.

How do you mean match the camera with the scope can you explain further? I have a megrez 72 and sw120ed, will they not do?

If you have a long focal length scope then you need a large CCD if you want to image wide fields of view. For the sake of argument let's say the 314+ is 10mm wide (I have no idea if this is true or not). In your Megrez 72 the sensor would cover about 1.3 degrees of the sky whereas with the 120ED it's less than 40 arcminutes. If you want more than that you need a bigger sensor or a focal reducer.
