Mars 20-10-07 good seeing

Hi all

Mars from earlier on this morning. Seeing was pretty good about 7/10. The 5x Powermate I had been waiting for courtesy of the Royal Mail finally arrived this week and it gives a pretty good image scale with the C11. Very tricky to get the planet on the camera chip at this focal length though.

NPH was very bright in the blue channel.

I think this imaging train is about optimal for Mars this time round (probably won't get another decent image now!). I'm working away from home for a couple of weeks-very frustrating as things are starting to get interesting now.
