m42 ... new core

This is the image I posted a couple of weeks ago... just got round to inserting a new core First time ive done this in photo shop ....

The trapezium is still burnt out a bi,t but its alot better than it was... I only used 15 second subs for the core at 800 iso .. next time i will try 10 secs or lower the iso

any comments welcome ... as long as they are constructive

Core is fine, colours are a bit oversaturated I feel.

Orion is much better, running man still has too much blue perhaps.

Not sure how you processed but I took 4 hours worth of 300 sec exposures and 3 minutes of 15 sec exposures and then process using the Combining 2 Different Exposures method my end result is here
