Jupiter, GRS, Callisto, Ganymede & Io! 04.12.12

Hi all,

Had a bit of fun last night and managed to get the GRS at last!!!! Yippee!

Got a few AVIs, and managed a good one (for my standards anyway) where I also have 3 moons in there! Ohoh!

I think the pic with (only) 2 moons is better in my opinion, so I attach it too

Still not sure whether I need a new pair of eyes, I just can't see the GRS at the eyepiece, I just sort-of guess it because the color in the belt just 'stops' where it is...

Great shots and I agree with you - the two moon shot looks nicer. Jupiter looks a little flat in the first one. Great work!

Nicely done, and I know what you mean about seeing the GRS in the eyepiece. It was only when I was shooting Jupiter on 30 November that I first had a clear view in the eyepiece that showed colour and shape in the way it is "supposed" to appear.
