Must be Santa!

Sorry, but this made me smile. Whilst doing a bit of astrometry on some asteroids this evening I stumbled across this one which I haven't encountered before. Asteroid 1288 Santa, a 16th-magnitude asteroid currently in Aries, discovered in 1933.

Not the most interesting image but, hey, it's Christmas and I've just seen Santa!

10 x 60 second exposures SXVF-H9 cam, 250mm f/4.7 Newtonian
