Not my best Jupiter by a long shot. I guess conditions were not great tonight, looks like others have struggled too, even with some good gear.

It was a good time to capture, GRS and transit on show mid evening.

Yes I was really keen for a good imaging session tonight - but I've struggled so far. Conditions not good. Not as good as last saturday night. I'm planning on waiting until the planet is higher in the sky and having another go.

Conditions were definitely not the best. I tried out my new camera tonight and was mightily impressed, but definitely felt it was not the best it could capture. very impressed with what you managed to get though! I just missed the shadow due to my house being in the way :/

Nicely caught transit considering how windy it was last night and Jupiter would be pretty low at that time? Wish I'd done the same and had an early night.
