  1. You don't extract an Mai file, you run it. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  2. Move the ROI window around (not sure where it is on Firecapture, I use Sharpcap) to find it
  3. I don't know if you considered putting in support for Canon Cameras? Should be easy enough with the gphoto2 library?
  4. Not that there was any doubt (it's based on Mint) but confirmed working on Distro Astro 2.0 "Pallas". It may be worth seeing if you can get it installed by default as their new version is out soon and they are only currently packaging wxAstrocapture as far as i can tell. http://www.distroastro.org/
  5. Another good method is to defocus the object making it a bigger target, then once you've centred the doughnut re-focus. This is the method i use very successfully.
  6. I think Liverpool AS have a very active SN hunting project. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  7. I've never seen colour in M57 and i've seen it through an 8 inch refractor that gave views of delicate structure in the ring. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

  10. It's a drivers key for the railway :-) Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  11. My mistake, the Best adapter is M48 to Canon directly so no T2 required (bottom right on fr/f2f page). Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  12. I'll try get a picture within the hour... Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  13. The adapter I think you're referring to is to give the M48-T2 ? In which case yes you need it to stretch the T2-Canon adapter to so it goes Scope-fr/ff-M48 to T2-T2 Canon adapter-Camera Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  14. You need to unscrew the black bit off the end of the focusser to see the threads. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
