MOUNT IS NOT STURDY ENOUGH......................

Hi all,just a quick question ,im thinking of upgrading my scope to a 10"dob, but for now what i,ve got is a skywatcher 130,i like this scope but it suffers a lot when the wind is blowing,is there any way i can make it a bit sturdier its an EQ3 looks like its going to be clear tonight but windy and it just isnt any fun when i cant keep the scope still, many thanks and clear sky,s everyone. :BangHead:

I put the lead acid battery that I use tp power the mount on the eyepiece shelf which gives a fair bit of stability, anything to add to the mass I suppose

Good idea - you have inspired me to hang my power tank from the eyepiece shelf.
