Recommended Posts

Taken tonight using approx. 2 min subs for a total exposure of 23 mins at iso 800 using an un modified camera with an 85 mm lens @ f3.5

On driven NEQ3 mount but not guided. Images stacked in AA5 and processed in PS SC3. Cropped to remove vignette from corners, no flats, darks etc...

More wide fields to process.

Hope you like

Thanks All, I enjoyed this one. Wasn't quite sure what to expect as I'd just moved the scope round to M31 as the southern sky at the time was cloudy. Glad I did. Probably needs about 150-200 mm just to raise the image scale a little but keep the starry background.

Thanks again. - Processing more wide fields around Cygnus.
