M45 - wip

After the mosaic I felt that I needed a colour fix so to that end I made a start on this one. Only a couple of hours of data so far before the sun came up.

All subs @ 10mins with the ED80/QHY9 osc

Really nice image, guiding looks absolutely spot on. The contrast between the blue M45 and orange background stars is great.

Great stuff. The key thing is that you are pulling in the reds. The red star contrasts are splendid and if you go deep, deep, deep (and you will!) you'll be rewarded by the dust clouds though which the cluster is passing.

This is a tough one in some ways but you have it already by the scruff of it's neck. It won't escape!

Haha, a colour fix... This should have worked then by the looks of it. You're off to an early - and flying - start on this one!

M45 last year proved to be beyond my ability. Nice to see how it's done!
