I changed from Andromeda to NGC 7635 in Cassiopeia last night, despite the fact I fully intended to carry on with Andromeda.

This is my favourite DSO but I thought I wouldn't be able to get any usable data with an f4 scope. I tried last year with an unmodded DSLR and got nothing but the modified 1000d is just the trick.

Just goes to show.

I'm going to stick with this object as I think it is fabulous and will see what I can get as far as details.

Thanks. I'm amazed how much more the full spectrum camera is receiving. Well worth finding a used bargain and 'modding' it.

Yes, modding the camera makes a big difference. I think it's said to be 4x as sensitive to Ha Nice bubble
