M31 , first serious attempt with ED80 Pro.

This was always the intended target for the ED80 when I realised I could get most of it in the frame with 32 and 110 as well.

Been fretting about PS etc all day but the adjustmenta available in DSS , DPP and LivePhoto Gallery more than meet my humble needs.

1000D + ED80 Pro , 37 @ 60s Unguided + Darks . Straight from DSS with minor tweaks in DSS.

I've 120s and 180s subs to play with tomorrow.

Thats a lovely shot bet your pleased I did the same thing the other night. The ed80 pro was made for m31 fits like glove

Great first attempt. Lots of detail, and you haven't overdone the core either.

Always a notoriously difficult object with its range of brightness.

Just a little colour balance to sort out, but that's a very nice start.

I'll be having another go at M31 before long but I'm concentrating on objects which will be out of sight soon such as the Sagittarius region.
