I do wish some of you pro's would do a little astrophotography primer for beginners on do's and don'ts, hints and tips, etc I for one would appreciate it muchly!

Trevor: It's a 20Da - a special made by Canon which was tweaked for astrophotography.

CygnusX1: I write the Stargazer's Guide in the Sky at Night magazine and there's a page dedicated to imaging in there. Whether anyone follows it is another matter . I don't get a lot of free time to write tutorials but I've a number of books planned. They are at the contents stage at the moment and have been for some time!

I live in Selsey on the Sussex coast, the same town that Sir Patrick lives in. Neither of us moved to Selsey because of it's skies I might add.
