The focuser is the route of all evil and I cant wait to replace it.

how can you tell only asking because i got an ed 80 for ts like earl

Yes I think thats it, the flattener will not sit flat in this focuser.

The stars on the Let hand side of the image are stretched, this is due to the focuser not allowing the reducer to sit true and square in it.

Still a great image despite the focuser issues your having. Been having issues myself like ruined hand controllers and burned out remote controllers but I never give up its just too much fun.
