Hello:

I'm wondering...which would be ideal for imaging/viewing Saturn and Mars...I have a 2.5x powermate and am wondering if a 4x or 5x powermate or barlow would be better for image scale?

any suggestions appreciated..which is better?

Cheers

Will depend on your seeing conditions. I can get away with a 3x on my 925 but if conditions are bad it is a bit too much. 4 and particularly 5 may be a bit much unless you have better skies in Canada than here in Kent !!

Yes,

around f40 is very good!!!

(I have a full range of barlows/ Powermates - good idea at the time! The x5 Powermate I think has been out the box twice - once when I bought it, and second when I checked "what the devil is in that box"......doesn't get used!)
