The price seems incredible given the current market (same seller has the 8mm too - same price):

Edit: I've just checked his other items - filters at the same price as the Ethos ???? - something very odd - take great care

Filters are a strange price, he is either Mr £250 man, or he put them all on at the same time - changed the pics and the blurb, yet forgot to change the prices. As far I can see a Baader UV/IR 1.25 sells new for only £40 - be interesting to see if he has any takers for the filters at that price!

The first run of the Ethos 13mm used a slightly fatter design that the current one. Following feedback from binoviewer fans the design was slimmed down by a few mm to cater for that use.

If I remember correctly, didn't televue change the barrel design specifically so it was narrow enough to use in binoviwers? Oh to have the cash to do that sort of thing. The children/counter weight issue is no problem, I have two that could be gaffa taped in position :D

Maybe the guy wanted a hassle free deal? One can spend a LOT of time answering (largely) gratuitous queries from merely NOSY non-buyers on Ebay? Most of my NEW stuff was sold at 60% of its real value, even here...
