Why won't my registax work?

Earlier I installed registax 6 to clean up some videos of the moon, jupiter and saturn. When I go to upload the videos it says error. Has anyone else had this problem and is it fixable?

I've heard registax 6 has a few bugs/probs. Try an older version if you can't sort it? Wait for a few more posts on here as I'm sure the experts will offer better advice!

I'm a noob to all this but reading around I found a bit freeware that helps - virtualdub - load your avi in this and then save it again - registax 6 will then be able to load it - works for me

I would also suggest the Registax 5 route - R6 is not at all tolerent of drift and can be tricky to use as it is a bit "buggy".

First off, which type of video file is it?

What cam are you using?

Have you added the recent R6 update (must have R6 installed first)

Have you managed any files to load up?

...and lastly try early R5 version

TBH, I ended up going back to Registax5 due to the file problems.
