As for telepathy I also invite you to post links to the peer-reviewed, verified scientific tests which show it works.

My girlfriend studies psychology and therefore I heard about many diferent cases that experiments were exceptionaly sucessful. If the results were so significant that they could not say anything they just marked the experiment as a fake. We went on one lecture of psychology where there was girl that was known to have telepatic capabilities. For example the lecturer showed 20 different cards, sometimes same cards one after another, and she would guessed 18. How significant is this? I would give you one year to try it yourself and I am sure you would not guess more that 10 even if you were trying every day. There are no miracles in the nature but only things we do not know about yet. How much do we know about brain?....almost nothing mate so this is what I mean by open mind...it is not magic but rather something that still has to be researched.

Right now faith healers are out there killing people, psychics taking thousands from the vulnerable and fundamentalists are out blowing up people who dont believe in thier particular imaginary friend. It's all the same superstitious thinking and it needs to be confronted at every opportunity.

the differnce between astronomy and astrology.

One is the study of the wonders around us, exploring dark mysteries and bright phenomena, a way of looking deep into the past to give us understanding of the present and the future. It can have truly profound effects on us should we let it into our lives...

The other is ancient mumbo jumbo. Boom-boom :D

Just wondering why, if i look up the usual traits of people according to their star sign, there are no references to mean spirited, tight fisted, argumentative, gobby, self-righteous and opinionated toerags? Does that mean I'm really an Ophiucan? :D

I suppose it's been successful in one way, it's certainly generating a lot of posts. It's always good to go into a specialist forum and ask 'what winds you up the most?' Wait... wait.... I'm getting a vision. Yes... defintely a vision.... there's going to be trouble in the middle east! House prices are going to rise! You personally feel a little insecure and undervalued at your work, and you want to be more confident in your dealings with others!

believe it or not `ive just had a retired astronomy professor in here at work- who out of the blue ( she knew i had an intrest- one of my receptionists knows her)- asked has any idiot asked you about astrology yet- she used to get it all the time 20 years ago as a professor of astronomy!!!- she too said AAARRRGGGH
