M27 - Lo Res

Found a hole in the sky last weekend. So excited that I forgot I'd set the Canon to 'small - low res JPG', instead of large hi -res RAW.

So here's my lo-res M27!

6 subs 30 secs 800 ISO, 5 subs 45 secs 800 ISO. Processed in ImagesPlus.

Had a play, it tweaks up with some curves nicely as well. Great star colours MD.

Low resolution or not, there's plenty of nice detail in there!

Very nice, and as KK found, there's a lot more in there to extract, with a bit of 'tweaking'.

Thanks for the comments -I think it's turned out OK, but it would have benefitted from the higher resolution. I did a version of the posted image with more detail but backed off a bit as it looked a bit 'artificial'.
