MikeD
Conditions were not ideal for deep space imaging last night with a thin mist blocking photons and reflecting light pollution. So I went for a high contrast target and and old favourite of mine, the bok globs in the Rosetta nebular.Conditions got progressively worse as the night went on so I called it a night with only 2.5 hours of Ha data in the bag.NGC2238 area of the Rosetta nebular in 15 x 600 second Ha subs taken through my usual setup of 10" f4.8 newt, HX916 CCD, TS off axis guider/DMK21 guide cam and EQ6.Thanks for lookingMike. James
You may have been fighting the conditions (it was hazy down here in Devon too but it was mostly at ground level!) but you've got lots of the globules in the image James
Beyond_Vision
You have done well despite the conditions. It looks like drops of ink dispersing in water RegardsKevin

ollypenrice
Great details, Mike. I hadn't realized there were so many Boks in that region.OllyPS, Is there anything in the language so wonderful to pronounce aloud as 'Bok Globule?' It makes me smile every time I say it.
