Hello Gemma.

I have a Meade 10x50 and find it excellent value, good performance and very light, the rubber coating is comfortable to hold and the focuser is as good as it gets. This model is also branded Bresser and Rocktrail, if the one you mention is similar it should be a good buy. :)

I also have a pair of Meade 10 x 50 and find them really good.

I had a pair that would not focus to infinity, so I changed them the next pair were out of collimation gave up and got some imagic's from FLO, superb but 5 times the price of the Meade's.

tell ya what do what i did ,go round all the charity shops in your local town,i got some prinz 20x70 for 6 quid and the optics are top notch they can with to sets of filters one says "day" and one set says "dusk",they real heavy and look new have a try
