30-05-07 First Moon Mosaic & Other Moon Images

It was first light for my C6 tonight, I had to borrow my dads adaptors to get my camera to work with the 1 1/4" focuser so I need to order some adaptors of my own but I was very pleased with my attempts, especially my first mosaic

All images taken with Canon 350D, ISO200 using either a barlowed 20mm eyepiece or barlowed 9mm.

I'm still blundering around a bit with the processing so if anybody would like to have a play, I've uploaded a zip file containing 7 of the images used to make up the mosaic, you can download it at: http://iseestars.net/grant_moon.zip. If the link doesn't work, it may still be uploading...

Peter, I used the photomerge script in photoshop, seemed to work ok

Nice start with the new scope Grant, and the images are great. I like the mosaic too.

Caz is expert at bringing the best out of these, and you will agree the tweaks a goodun.
