Follow on from TLAO

Hi,

I'm going to be getting a new 'scope soon (8" Dob), and so was looking for a book similar to Turn Left At Orion, but with a bit more content, and objects within reach of larger scopes, that weren't in reach of my 4.75" 'Frac.

I've heard a few names floating around, but what would be the best book for the job?

+1 for Astronomical Wonders, plenty in there to keep you occupied

Have you got the 4th Ed of TLAO, spiral bound? That contains 8" objects now.

another vote for this book. enough to last a lifetime. i love this book,plenty of room for making notes too.

I bought this a while back and its excellent. I also have the latest edition of TLAO but the latter is much more comprehensive. Agree there's enough in here to last a lifrtime.
