It gives 167 degrees horizontally on a 7D cropped sensor. It will fit the 5D MkII as well but the imaging circle of the lens doesn't completely cover the FF sensor

It was taken wide open at f3.5, at f5.6 the edge sharpness is significantly better. I'd like to get a clear night to mount it pointing directly to the zenith on the EQ3 Pro mount

Hopefully you will get a chance soon I look forward to seeing the results...it may help me take the plunge....

I can't usefully use the 10-24 at 10mm from home but have a couple of shots planned with it with interesting foreground objects form darker sites... the 8mm would be even better..
