Jupiter's MOON IO - September 12, 2011 - 13:55:13

Dit some more processing on Jupiter's moon from my September 12, 2011 captures, like to process those little buggers. There are some albedo features visible and also the volcano on top but no plume, also the dark spot on the bottom left seems to match up with the Winjupo's image.

seems to match up well with winjupos, even Volcano

how many frames are u stacking for these ?

and are u doing any wavelets or sharpening ?

also are u doing seperate 1 point alignment on just moon with registax when stacking?

Stack was around 200 frames out of 4000 or so... very slow rotation there.

Seeing was not optimal so I might do better with more and better detail.... soon.. I hope..

Outstanding! The detail visible compares well with Winjupos prediction. One of the best Io images I have seen.
