I am the very happy owner of a Canon 5D now. I always dreamed of it.

So I made some pics last week. It makes fun to work with this cam.

Welcome to the 5DMKII club.Beautiful images,love the processing of the Orion shot.You will certainly enjoy the 5DMKII,i dreamt about it for a while too and then took the plunge,wish i'd done it sooner.The perfect camera for low light and astroscapes,hardly any noise,even at high ISO's.

I am so happy with it. I love it to capture landscapes at night. The 5D seems to be the perfect cam for that. I agree with you, Stewart:

I love the Orion image Werner the star colour is spot on. Nice to see orion rising over the tree. Looks like you have had a great time with the 5D

Congrats on your fantastic captures! I have got my mkII almost since it was released and I never regret buying it (have got the first 5D too (which I won in a comp back then) but the new one is much better for low light pics) You will love it, I am sure!
