4.5X Jupiter Just for fun!!

This is the image i got from a few avi's i did last night with a 2x barlow and a 2.5x barlow stacked on top of each other, i wasn't expecting to see anything!! but was surprised by the result. Of course 4.5x i think is too much, 3x barlow is probably the limit for a 4 inch scope but interesting to see the image and it may have been better without the full moon..

Not a bad result considering.

By the way, a 2x Barlow plus a 2.5x makes 5x, not 4.5. You multiply them, not add them.

Great image - don't suppose you remember what capture program and settings you used do you?

I once tried a 3x and a 2x but the result was 5% the quality of this one.
