Perseid meteor in Orion

At last I got it, I've been aiming at Orion for days now, hoping for something like this:

Well done, I know how difficult it is to capture one, I was out in the garden until 03.00am and took hundereds of shots but not one, you should be very pleased.

I am really pleased, especially after old Perseus slung all those bright bolides just out of shot, I was beginning to question his parentage...

This is a nice picture. I managed to see one myself two nights ago but wasn't photographing them. What shutter/ISO settings do you use for an object like that? Also, at what time was it taken? It must be early morning if Orion is so bright.

I think it was about 04:00 ish, ISO 1600, 20 seconds exp. f3.5 @ 18mm and a nice flat calm sea...
