partly cloudly says the bbc with excellent seeing

when i check the weather i use sat24 and the bbc normaly the bbc give my area a somewhat accurate foracast and tonight it has given the seeing conditions as excellent never seen this before but it also says partly cloudy for my area. fingers crossed they got it wrong and it goes clear! doubt it though.

John I saw exactly the same thing this afternoon!!! 7timer (APanel) agrees, but the sat24 radar looks pretty manky at the moment .....

The forcast was not brilliant here, but you never know! The one thing they didn't forcast was the thunder and lightning and torrential downpour that is happening right now!!

I've just been out to test the solar filter I made this weekend for my ST120. There's plenty of blue sky, but the clouds are absolutely flying across it, heading south-east, I'd say.
