A very lucky break in the fog allowed for some reasonable seeing in a two hour window. The active regions which have been on display over the course of the week did not disappoint! AR1260 and 1263 are especially impressive whereas AR1261 has some delicate small umbra when viewed in white light which resembles a feline paw print.

H-alpha [Lunt60 double stacked]

CaK [PST]

White light [WO110 megrez and Baader Herschel Wedge]

Skynyx 2.1

Thank you for looking.

Hi Stu,

Cheers! Quite pleased with these. The full disk is luckily not a mosaic. The skynyx 2.1 is well matched to the Lunt60 for fill disk imaging.

Kind regards,

Sheri

Nice...good to avoid making a mosaic if you can. I've found them to be particularly tricky and never really satisfactory, but others I've seen are extremely impressive. Like most image manipulation, I guess it's a question of practice (and skill).

Regards

Stu.
