yes guys and gals....yet another M51 pic, but i'm right chuffed, because although not as good as some, it is however my first pic with my new gear....hope you like!

question for you....is the super novae visible in this pic? please let me know.

That's a very good start!

Two points:

1. The clarity will improve masses once you get the art of tracking nailed

2. Careful with the saturation as you'll loose detail - it's better to stack more unsaturated images than fewer saturated. To reduce saturation, reduce the exposure time.
