There are advantages in hosting off-site... you have more control over the way the image is displayed in a post...

When you make a post, use the advanced tab, and click the little paperclip icon, you will then be able to attach your picture to the post and it will be clickable to enlarge.

Alternatively, use the album feature of the forum to upload the pics, and then use the code supplied in the album in your thread to include the image.

One thing to note, we prefer to choose images for POW that are hosted on SGL where possible. Not only are they likely to be more permanent link wise, but it can help with permissions for calendar pics etc.
