ERF cell for PST mod?

As I don't know anyone who could make one for me, this looks like a good deal for an ERF cell. Has anybody used one of these?

Have a look on Astroboot they sometimes have a solar filter holder on there which can be easily adapted... Ken's (Merlin66) is your man for info..

I'm looking for one of these as well, whats the correct size ERF for a 80mm vixen donor tube and whats its OD?

You'll need the 90mm diameter D-ERF and mount that into a cell to give a clear aperture of 80mm.You'll need a tilt of around 3mm ( the width of a match) to throw any reflective ghosts away from the etalon.

Yes, the 90mm D-ERF from Baader is 90mm outside diameter.

I have a lathe capable of up to 9" O/D. I've made several ERF cells for my own experiments. (I'm on the border of E Lancs/ W Yorks)

Pete, I would like take you up on the offer of a cell for a 90 mm filter (when I get it). I need to decide whether to fit it to the objective cell or the dew cap. Perhaps you could work out a costing?

P.s We are due a get together at the AC Observatory, subs must be over due. I will have a word with the lads :-)
