Kielder mobiles?

I'm assuming there is none due to the location but does anyone know if there is mobile phone reception at Kielder Forest? (Orange network)

Not from the site, but there are phones in the site office and the pub. Some people have been able to get reception from the main road above the site but not on the Orange network. If You could be bothered to walk up Deadwater Fell to the radar domes the reception is fantastic :shock:

Couldn't get reception on Vodafone last in the Autumn - until a few miles down the road.

But payphone on site (bring LOTS of coins).

But Paul, have the fun is not being contactable for a couple of days - it drives SWMBO crazy

Hi Paul,

There is a small orange site at a place called yarrowmoor. It covers the Tower Knowe vistor centre. It's a couple of miles down the road from Kielder. No coverage in Kielder itself though.

I can understand the tins, but string! We just throw our empty ones in the bin theres no need to tie them up :shock:
