The Svbony 3-8 mm zoom will not be suitable for you if you wear glasses while observing. 10mm ER isn't large enough IMO. Do you have astigmatism? If yes then the above applies. If not then you can simply achieve focus by using the telescope focuser without wearing your glasses.

Your problem is obviously the missing eyepiece holder which should be on the top of the drawtube.

I own two EQ5 mounts. One go to and the other with dual motors. It's ideal for my Starfield 102 and copes well with my 6" Maksutov for planetary imaging. I wouldn't put anything heavier than that on them. It holds the Mak steady and perfectly centred in a 480x480 ROI.

There are 1.25" focusers that can be bought on eBay relatively cheaply that are decent quality (IE metal not plastic). They will undoubtedly cost more than you paid for the telescope though.

A 24mm or 32mm are not high magnification eyepieces. The larger the number on the eyepiece the lower the magnification. The magnification is calculated by dividing the focal length of the telescope by the focal length of the eyepiece. For a 200P say that would be 1000mm so a 32mm would give you 1000/32 = 31.25x. A 10mm eyepiece would give you 1000/10 = 100x. Regarding a barlow/ extender I can recommend the Explore Scientific 2x telextender. It's good quality and fits your budget.

No I just got a "This is unsafe and blocked it totally". Developer mode allowed me to open and install it. Once installed I switched developer mode off again.

Was it windows 10 or 11 you installed it on? I can't get the unblock box up when I click on properties. Pretty miffed as I've already deleted 5.1.3. I have windows 10.

I click on properties on my windows 10 computer to unblock the file and no such window appears. i can't find a way to unblock it.

No amount of wonder fluid can remove those scratches.

Filters and fingerprints are a mishap waiting to happen. I now handle my filters as if they are radioactive with the utmost care. I got a handle on the filters but my sloppiness got a fingerprint on my camera sensor. At least they are removed easy enough.

As has already been said that it won't be a major impact on the views but to me the question is how much is the seller asking for? With the defects the price should be a chunk lower than an equivalent one without the scratches.

How stiff? Maksutov focusers do have some resistance as it’s moving the primary mirror to attain focus.
