its a new style FT dedicated to the FSQ106.

  7. Steve a word of warnign with the flap, make sure you balance your scope with it in open I did it with mine shut and it does change the balance point. Im also find the balance shifts as the ota points to other parts f the sky due to the weight of the unit on one side so it might be wortth considering counter balancing it. Id be very interested to hear if you have any issues and how you deal with them regarding this.
  8. Focuser is in the UK according to USPS now let see Parcelfarce do their bit....

  14. Steve Im really keen to see how you get on with doing this, I have had nothing but trouble with all the automation, and equipment, a sane person would of chucked the towel in ages ago however ill be damned if i give in now !!!
  15. ER..... yeah.... i read on it on the forum, its to do with the weatherstation and the file the aag can generate and telling sgp via the right ascom divice to read that file. (sorry its vague i cant recall where i looked) I select from the menu "Weather stn:"Ascom Boltwood OK to Open However if all your interested in is emergancy shut the aag will do this in a standalone way. Where i woudl ultimalty like it to be is.... Able to check the weather in real time and image if its doable from a predefined set of targets, for which i belive ACP is the way to go. I do belive this is ultimatly the right piece of software. (Personal Expert as you need to schedual) http://acp.dc3.com/stvideo.html
  16. energy / matter is never lost its always balanced, out of reach maybe but still in existance, (it is an interesting thought that if you can never interact with something is it lost i guess its one point of view) nothing can leave the universe unless matter / energy can skip between parallel universes, which is an interesting concept in itself and i think i have heard something about that somewhere as some sort of quantum state / property, cant recall which, but it was theoretical at best i think.

Looks like 2 that are close, NGC 3953 being nearest, NGC3956 up a bit towards Charitin. Further towards the front there is a cluster of about 7-10, towartds the rear there is the Virgo Supercluster and far too many to count. So dependiong on how near 1,2, 10-13 or a couple of thousand.
