  1. I shot this earlier in the year and just reprocessed.. 11 x 600 sec Ha 6 x 600 sec OIII , using Baarder Filters .. I don't think I will add more subs to these , I will probably just reshoot with my Chroma filters ..
  2. Nice detail in the nebula .. and I like the colours .. nice shot 👍
  3. Thanks Peter , much appreciated 😉
  4. Cracking shot 😁I will be using mine with one of my QSI cameras , according to the charts will give slight undersampling but great for wide field , which is exactly what I was looking for .. . The scope did get some bad press on first release I think , but I believe later versions were rectified.. and the proof is in your pics 😊
  5. Nice shot Emil 👍 .. how do you find the TS 65Q .. I brought a new secondhand one a few months back and not used it yet ..
  6. I have already posted my colour version of this target , but I like the B&W version so I thought i would post .. I have re named this version Melotte 15 as it does seem to draw your attention to that area . and yes ...... I added a few stars 👍 26 x 600 sec Ha subs 10 X 600 sec OIII subs . using Chroma 3nm filters .. processed in APP ,PS & LR
  7. Thank you 😊.. I'm please with the shot especially as Its only 6 hours of subs .. .. I didn't want to just label it as Melotte 15 as it wasn't a close up ..😉 just posted a B&W version and remained that though
  8. I shot this Last night , I think it was going to be the last clear sky this week 😔 26 x 600 sec Ha 10 x 600 sec OIII using my QSI 583 with Chroma 3nm filters processed with APP , PS and LR with additional plugins..
  9. Hi David , i just want it as a weather cam
  10. Does anyone have any experience with sky cameras , to watch the sky condition , cloud etc .. I want to mount one on my workshop. is the starlight version the only one available ? Has anyone any DIY options , thoughts etc ?. Thanks Brian
  11. Had a clear night here and managed some good subs on this target .. 24x 600 ha and 12x 600 OIII I then spent the day messing around with the processing .. still not sure if I'm finished .. 🤔
  12. I removed the polar scope .. ! I use the Polemaster
  13. "I find it helps to have as long a dovetail as possible" ANNE S ----- I couldnt agree more .. especially when i set up my Edge .. as it is rear heavy with the focuser
  14. Hi , I do exactly as per the videos .. then you should be able to disengage both clutched and set the scope anywhere and it stays there .. however if mine wanders slightly i don`t bother too much ..
  15. If you check out this guys Youtube channel he has a couple of videos on balancing .. it might just be worth a look . i am probably not as pernickety as I should be with my balancing , I tend to get it near enough , and I seem to get good total RMS of 0.12 - 0.15 consistently.. here's some pics of my modified mount .. hope this helps ... Brian
  16. Have a look at this YouTube video , I don't think your balancing the scope correctly .. .. IMHO I removed the polar scope on my mount and run my cables up the middle I also removed the USB sockets which are useless and replaced with power supply sockets..
  17. That's a cracking shot with a standard DSLR .. all be it and expsive one .. 👍
  18. Thank you all for your comments and thoughts much appreciated .. 😊 I personally like defraction spikes .... 😉
  19. Hi Carole , after a days break from it , i had another LAST play with the image .. and will settle for this .. still some green but now some yellow and the blue .. I hope you like ? 😊
  20. Hi Carole , have a look at Sara Wagers Version , it has the green and Blue .. which I really like .. your version has no green and my version has no blue 😂. All a matter of taste at the end of the day .. im glad you like the image though 😁, it means a lot 😊
