  1. Taken with my 130 EDT and QSI583.. managed to get the bubble with M52 3.5 hours of 600 sec exposures in Ha & OIII normal processing of APP , PS and LR .. my OIII data is not as nice as the Ha so will probably take some more and reprocess in due course, but I'm pleased with the result so far ..

    M27

Trying to make the most of the very short nights , so added some more data to my M27 . taken with my Altair 130 and QSI583 with Chroma Ha and OIII 3nm filters .. processed in APP , PS & LR .. 3.6 hours of 600 sec exposures
  3. Yep star spikes added in PS . this was taken with my 130EDT ..
  4. Thanks Carole and Gina .. PC gone wrong at present, SSD drive gave up , so can't adjust the background as suggested Carole .. will have a play around when up and running again ..
  5. Had been gathering data on NGC 6995 before the current run of bad weather here in the U.K. .. using Chroma Ha 3nm and OIII 3nm filters 22x 600 sec@ -20 Ha 12 x 600 sec @ -20 OIII 5.6 hrs total processed in APP and PS , synthesised Green channel
  6. Hi Carole , cracking pic .. im struggling with the Hubble pallet even more than the normal pallet 😂, as most of the data is normally captured with Ha when you assign to the Green channel , everything is green ! Or at least on my images ..😳 Anyway .... super pic and very nice processing ..😉 Brian
  7. Tried to improve the stars and increase the gold .
  8. Reprocessed with less green stars ..
  9. Hi John , thanks ... I'm very pleased with the mount TBH , as you can see the guiding/ tracking is pretty good .. the diffraction spikes were added in PS . I like them 😊.. however , I still need to have another play with these images ..the red version has a lot of green stars especially when viewed on here .. and I would like to try and get some more goldish colouring on the Hubble version .. The shots were taken with my Altair 130 .. but ignore the heading on the PHD pic , because it says Celestron .. just haven't Sussed out where I can change it ..
  10. Green pallet was all the rage at Chelsea flower show this year ! 😉
  11. Been outside this week for 3 nights , 2 nice and clear one a little tricky ..and gathered 9.5 hours of data for this subject .. using a Chroma 3nm Ha filter , and Baarder OIII and SII filters .. guiding was some of the best I've had .. taken with my Altair 130EDT on the iOptron CEM60 EC processed in APP ,PS & LR ..

  15. has anyone any idea about these off vertical bands radiating from the centre ? the filter is a Chroma Luminance .
  16. Its something on the Luminance master .. I will have to reprocess it again and see if it goes .. so it's not your MacBook ! ..
  17. This was the first image taken over the last week , shot Saturday ,Sunday and finished Monday 147 x 300 second subs LRGB total integration time of 12.25 hrs 180 flats 30darks 30bias processed in APP and PS i would like to get some more definition in the dust , any suggestions ?
  18. Another image from this weeks sessions .. the Cresent Nebula 7 hours of 300 second subs Ha and OIII, processed in APP and PS and used Carbonis Action tools for a synthetic Green channel .. i did shoot with a Luminance filter as well , but turned out to be very busy with stars , so I left it out .. ! quite pleased with the resulting image but I think adding more subs might improve it ..
  19. Been a cracking week of clear skies here in sunny Essex 🙄Call it dedication or stupidity, but I've been out in the garden every night from last Saturday night though till Thursday morning 10 pm till 3.30am 😴.. It was great leaving the scope set up again then just starting it all up and away you go ! I Wanted to try out a new filter , Chroma Ha 3nm .. the only down side was I needed to refocus for the Baarders .. so here's my attemp at IC5070 Pelican Nebula. .. 7.5 hours of 600 sec subs of Ha and OIII..
