New to me Altair Astro 1600m Pro Teck camera. It was to good to resist, lol. Resistance is futile, lol. Not sure but it doesn't look used much.

I use an AA26c cooling starts straight away in Nina. I connect camera, set temperature and click the cooling on.

Thanks StarHugger, much appreciated. Yeah, hopefully better weather coming into the spring. -
Well, February has been a little better regarding solar observations. Observations taken from the 1st, 7th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 19th. Gutted I missed the big one's these last few days, wrong time zone and weather. Not complaining, six days in the month so far. Up till now I've only seen the sun two times a month since October. Lunt 60mm DS scope and Bresser 100mm plus lunt B1800 Cak module. ZwoAsi 178mm cameras.

It was incredible to watch Sunshine.

Hi all, just processed the images from the 12th February of the coronal mass ejection. Only caught in Cak unfortunately, clouds moving fast so was hard to tune the HA scope. Bresser 100mm, lunt cak module and Zwo Asi 178mm camera. Only managed one HA but the CME had died down by then.

Towards a right spacing for coma corrector
Nigella Bryant replied to v4169sgr's topic in Getting Started With Imaging
Are these cropped images? Looks to me like tilt rather than coma. Coma would be more uniform around the outer sides of the image whereas yours seem to be more one sided. I no expert on these things so others with more experience hopefully will give their knowledge on the subject. -
I know, it's got to be personal, lol 😆

I'm waiting for the value to go up, lol 😆
