Thanks pal - but seriously they’re deceptively easy, just a case of drawing a blob, smudging aggressively with your finger(!) then shaping with your eraser and adding some pencil dots! Loads of fun! -

Hello there - Just finished reading your "what can I expect to see" sticky - it's great! In it you mentioned you were going to write a couple more, did you ever write them I couldn't find them. Your 4" sketches are amazing and a really useful guide for what to look out for in my 127 mak! Many thanks

Wondering why I bought a telescope in June?

Yeah, not the best time to do astronomy. My brother just bought a goto scope for his wife's birthday (sneaky joint present really as he wants to use it too!
) a couple of weeks back. I did warn him that the nights don't really get dark enough at this time of year, but they have seen Jupiter and some other DSO's with it after I went round one night to show them how to use it.
However, later on in the year I'm sure you'll get much more use out of it!

Hello sorry - would you mind expanding on how you shot this? When you say FullHD "crop" movie and then varying exposure time - do you mean the length of the video or the shutter speed? Sorry, bit of a noob question!
