  2. Peter, You are paying more in the second option SynScan goto upgrade. Yes they are stepper motors and more torque plus you have the added advantage of the handset goto feature as with the the other version you have to use the hand controller to move the scope albeit it does a ST4 port for guiding.
  3. I've received a RPI HQ camera what lens do you recommend fitting to this? Many thanks Andy
  4. Simon, Maybe fire off an email to FLO and see what they can do for you, explain what you are trying to do and you never know....

  7. @vlaiv would this work with current setup or push focus out so he can attach FR and then attach whatever? https://www.firstlightoptics.com/adapters/moonlite-smooth-bore-2-inch-to-sct-adaptor.html
  8. your scope has a 3.25" thread on the back of it and you are using a baader click-lock what you need to achieve is 3.25" to SCT in order to use the FR. is by chance your baader unit Baader item#: 2956233 have a read of this thread https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/390670-connecting-2-accessories-to-back-of-cpc1100/
  9. Ok so searched and not applicable to RPI4 so something else as rectified in this version
  10. Ok worth a try, I am racking my brain as there was something mentioned on RPI forum a couple of years ago about device's attached to an RPI with separate power supplies but can't find the link and "feedback" into the RPI i'll keep looking
  11. could well be a faulty RPI power supply albeit a genuine one try changing it for a phone charger and try

  20. Congrats on getting all to work. It is a nifty bit of kit once sorted. And Kudos to @RadekK as well for putting it all together.
  21. asas per @RadekK instructions in the documentation you could try the command below on your linux mint machine Basic installation of the system requires flashing your microSD card with system image file. It's not the same as copying the file to microSD card. If you just copy downloaded file to your microSD card it's not going to work. You can flash your microSD card (minimum 16GB required) using etcher.io or running below commands in your terminal: unzip astroberry-server_2.0.3.img.zip sudo dd if=astroberry-server_2.0.3.img of=/dev/sdX bs=8M status=progress Note: Replace sdX with your microSD card identifier. Make sure it is correct before running the above command! The process takes some time and you need to be patient. If you abort the flashing process your system is not going to boot at all.
